Herb Extracts & Tinctures

Herbal tinctures, or liquid extracts, are made from herbs and taken orally. They’re usually extracted in alcohol, but some are made with vegetable glycerine. Tinctures are easy to use as you just place a few drops under your tongue, and they’re absorbed into your bloodstream quickly, making them more effective than many other forms. Some herbs work fast, like those used for relaxation, while others, like nourishing herbs, may take a few weeks to build up in your system and show their effects which is similar to how multivitamins work.
